    Job Description

    • Build and strip formwork for residential foundation and footings.
    • Pour Concrete
    • Use of general hand & power tools (saw, hammer, drill, etc.)
    • Installing rebar, oiling forms, excavating dirt.
    • Minor concrete repairs.
    • Ability to lift 60+ pounds

    Requirements

    • Valid ‘G’ license with own transportation to and from site.
    • Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow new skills.
    • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
    • Experience an asset but not required. Will provide on the job training.

    Job Description

    • Residential Flatwork i.e., basement, garage, and porch slabs.
    • Place, Screed, Float, and finish concrete.
    • Ensure concrete is level and to grade/depth specifications.
    • Must be able to lift and carry 60+ pounds.
    • Take part in formwork for porches (experience an asset).
    • Installing rebar, vapor barrier and expansion joint.
    • Minor concrete repairs.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year experience in forming and finishing concrete.

    We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Field Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing quality control inspections, preparing drawings, managing, and scheduling trades and inspections. They must have excellent time management and communication skills.

    This position is field based from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with office visits as required.

    Job Description

    • Prepare and review architectural drawings, engineering plans and specifications.
    • Perform quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Assist with scheduling and management of trades and inspections on the job site.
    • Update production schedules and provide weekly reports.
    • Meet with inspectors and trades on site to review work and expectations.
    • Attend site meetings as required.

     

    Requirements

    • 1+ years’ relevant experience in this position considered an asset.
    • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and engineering plans.
    • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools and scheduling software.
    • Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem solving, planning, organizing abilities.
    • Strong work ethic and Reliable
    • Driver’s license (Class G) with personal vehicle.

     

    Experience is preferred but we are willing to train, support and develop the right candidate.

    Landscape Foreman

    The successful candidate will be supervising landscaping crews for residential and commercial developments, park construction, pond landscaping and general construction works.

    The ideal candidate will have experience working with and supervising landscape crews, strong organizational skills, the ability to schedule, track and perform work in a fast paced environment.  The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret plans, drawings and models in order to properly construct and deliver a finished product.  In addition to this you are able to read and achieve grades with a laser, and have excellent knowledge of sod installation, top soil placement, tree and shrub planting and be familiar with the associated equipment to perform these tasks successfully.

    Familiarity or experience with GPS is an asset but not required.

    This position is field based from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with competitive wage based on experience.

    Drainage Backhoe Operator

    We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable backhoe operator to join our drainage team.

    This position is field based primarily in Eastern Ontario from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with competitive wage based on experience.

    Major responsibilities but not limited to the following:

    • Drive and manipulate the bucket of a backhoe to dig and move earth, sand, gravel or a combination of these materials
    • Observe and understand coloured flags and ground markings indicating the location of underground utilities and structures
    • Work with others in order to complete the job successfully and safely
    • Conduct daily equipment inspections reports on equipment before use
    • Assist with general labor duties when needed

     

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • 2+ years’ relevant experience in this position
    • Experience in drainage, tiling and irrigation an asset
    • Strong work ethic
    • High initiative, integrity and ability to function effectively as a team player
    • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract

    Job Description

    • Communication daily with field managers and site supervisors to coordinate their requests
    • Assign jobsite resources
    • Schedule equipment and trucking requirements
    • Ordering site materials and rentals
    • Complete reports for site resources, inventory, daily float move and rentals
    • Review & submit timecards
    • Compile rental pricing
    • Manage ASL store & coordinate delivery of materials
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Post-secondary education or related work experience is an asset
    • Experience with project or equipment administration is an asset
    • Knowledge of construction equipment
    • High proficiency in computers and technology
    • Ability to learn new computer software (HCSS, Excel, Word, Outlook, CMIC)
