    ASL Agrodrain Limited is hiring a Civil Construction Scheduler

    ASL is a well-established multi-sector civil construction company performing earthworks, residential development, landscaping & site development, environmental and conservation, commercial construction and agricultural land improvement projects.     We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable scheduler to join our team to work with our operations group to manage a company-wide resource loaded schedule. As this is a new position with ASL there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to have a direct impact on the direction of the role.
    This position is based from our office in Ottawa (Osgoode) on a full-time basis from 8am to 5pm with additional hours as required.

    Major responsibilities but not limited to the following:
    • Reporting directly to and working with our Operations Team
    • Create, maintain & close-out resource loaded operations schedules
    • Produce and interpret regular reports with feedback from various managers
    • Work with our Estimating Team to determine operational capacity and forecast workload
    • Collect and maintain a database of historical schedule performance
    • Work with our Web Services Team to Innovate

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Post-Secondary Education in a relevant program
    • 3+ years relevant experience in this or a similar position
    • Proficient in scheduling with software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Powerproject
    • Driver’s license and personal transportation
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • High initiative, integrity and ability to function effectively as a team player

    We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable project coordinator to join our team assisting in all aspects of construction.
    This position is based from our office in Ottawa (Osgoode) on a full-time basis from 8am to 5pm with additional hours as required.

    Major responsibilities but not limited to the following:
    • Reporting directly to and working for our Project Management Team
    • Produce and interpret regular project cost reports with feedback from various managers
    • Ensure project cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followed
    • Ordering materials and managing purchase orders
    • Assisting with project start-up, invoicing and close-out procedures
    • Collect and maintain a database of historical productions

    Preventative Maintenance Technician

    Preventative Maintenance Technician
    Ottawa, On

    ASL Agrodrain Limited is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician.

    ASL is a well-established multi-service construction company working in civil construction performing earthworks, site preparation, landscaping, drainage and specialty projects. We are committed to providing an environment that supports professional growth, advancement, and development.

    We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable mechanic to join our team performing lube and oil work on late model heavy equipment as well as executing our preventative maintenance program for our small equipment.
    This position is full time, year-round with hours as agreed. A well-equipped service truck is supplied for work purposes. Our shop is located near Osgoode.

    Major responsibilities but not limited to the following:
    • Complete lubrication services and repairs
    • Coordinate convenient preventative maintenance service scheduling with field staff
    • Document all service and repair information
    • Organize and control inventory of all lube truck equipment and truck stock
    • Conduct small engine repairs and maintenance, as well as minor welding repairs
    • Conduct 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 hour services including valve sets

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Post-Secondary Education and a Technician Licence (421A/310T or Registered Apprentice)
    • 2+ years’ relevant experience in this position
    • Highly safety conscious and a strong technical background with high attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to meet repair deadlines in a fast-paced demanding
    environment
    • High initiative, integrity and ability to function effectively as a team player
    • Willing and able to work flexible hours (weekends/afternoon shifts) in support of business needs
    • Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance software along with basic computer skills would be an asset
    • A valid Ontario D Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
