In the Community

We are committed to giving back and making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.

our promise

Building Stronger Communities, Together

At ASL, we believe that a company is only as strong as the community that surrounds it. Giving back and creating meaningful connections with our neighbours is an essential part of who we are, driving our commitment to foster positive change and support those around us.

Our Initiatives

Supporting Osgoode

Located in the heart of Osgoode, ASL takes pride in actively contributing to the vibrancy of our local community. We proudly sponsor events such as Osgoode’s Canada Day celebrations, Christmas in the Village, and the Parade of Lights. Our team also comes together to support families in need by contributing to the Osgoode Emergency Food Cupboard.

CHEO Construction Community Cares Parade

ASL is proud to be a longtime participant in the National Capital Heavy Construction Association’s (NCHCA) CHEO Construction Community Cares Parade. Since its inception, we’ve joined this annual event to bring joy to the children in palliative care at CHEO and Roger Neilson’s Children’s Hospice.

Stronger Together Campaign

ASL was proud to partner with Rototilt for their “Stronger Together” campaign, raising awareness about the impact of breast cancer. Together, we launched their second Pink Tiltrotator, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Causeway Work Centre ‘Giving Tuesday’ Campaign

ASL is proud to support Causeway Work Centre, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with mental illness and other challenges by helping them find meaningful employment. For Causeway’s Giving Tuesday campaign, ASL was pleased to offer donation matching.

Baxter ASL Pond

The Baxter ASL Pond at Baxter Conservation Area provides an engaging environmental education experience, attracting over 5,000 students each year, from kindergarten to university. Home to a variety of wildlife, the pond offers a hands-on opportunity for students to explore pond ecology. ASL was honoured to contribute to the rehabilitation of this important site, in partnership with the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority.

ASL Invitational

The ASL Invitational Soccer Tournament is more than just a game—it’s a celebration of community and compassion. Since 2019, this annual event has brought teams together to raise funds and awareness for the Huntington Society of Canada, making every match a step toward a brighter future.
