ASL is hiring a Quantity Surveyor.
Founded in 1975, ASL is a well-established multi-sector civil construction company performing Earthworks, Residential Development, Site Development, Landscaping, Forming, Geothermal, & Conservation projects. This position is based from our office in Ottawa (Osgoode), with field visits as required. The hours of work are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Main duties and responsibilities will include;
- Receiving and processing field survey information
- Earthworks modelling
- Generating quantities for estimating
- Populating Estimates
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (technologist/technician) related to this field of work is an asset
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D is an asset
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
